Kenny Wood

Originally from Western Massachusetts, Coach Wood has been playing lacrosse since the third grade, developing a deep passion for the game at an early age. He played club lacrosse with the Berkshire Bears, where he built a strong foundation in fundamentals and competitive play.

Coach Wood continued his academic and athletic career at the University of South Carolina, where he earned his master’s degree and competed with the Columbia Pinks club lacrosse team.

After relocating to Florida in the early 2010s, Coach Wood quickly became involved in the South Florida lacrosse community. He began coaching with the Fort Lauderdale Lightning and went on to spend several years coaching at Cardinal Gibbons. He has also contributed at the collegiate level as an assistant coach for the University of Miami’s club program, and at the high school level as an assistant coach at North Broward Preparatory School.

Coach Wood brings a well-rounded background of playing and coaching experience, along with a passion for developing athletes and growing the game. We’re excited to have his knowledge, energy, and leadership as part of the Stealth Lacrosse program.
