Darren Lowe

Stealth Lacrosse is honored to have Coach Darren Lowe as part of our program.

Coach Lowe is one of the most accomplished players in the history of the sport. A three-time All-American at Brown University (1989–1992), he helped lead the Bears to three consecutive NCAA Tournament quarterfinal appearances and was a cornerstone of one of the most successful eras in program history. During his time at Brown, the team compiled an impressive 45–16 record, highlighted by a 13–1 season in 1991, where they went undefeated in the regular season and earned the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Individually, Coach Lowe ranks among Brown’s all-time leaders with 316 career points. In 1992, he was recognized as the nation’s top player, earning both the Lt. Raymond Enners Award (USILA National Player of the Year) and the Jack Turnbull Award as the country’s top attackman. He later competed at the international level as a member of the U.S. National Team in the 1998 World Lacrosse Championship, where he played in what is widely regarded as one of the greatest games in lacrosse history against Canada.

Following his collegiate career, Coach Lowe played four seasons of professional lacrosse with the New York Saints and continued competing at a high level with the Long Island–Hofstra club team, where he was part of the 1996 USCLA National Championship team. Known for his high lacrosse IQ and patient, team-oriented offensive style, he has long been respected for his understanding of the game.

Coach Lowe was inducted into the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2007 and continues to give back to the sport as a current board member of USA Lacrosse.

Lacrosse runs deep in the Lowe family. His father, Alan Lowe, and his brother, Kevin Lowe—also a Jack Turnbull Award winner and Hall of Famer—are both members of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Darren and his wife, Sierra, have two sons, Carson and Lucas.
