Brian Straub’s lacrosse journey is a testament to his lifelong dedication to the sport. Hailing from lacrosse-rich Long Island, he immersed himself in the game from the age of four, setting the stage for a remarkable career. As a player, Brian achieved the pinnacle of success, winning two New York State Championships in 2005 and 2006 while representing Huntington High School. His collegiate journey took him to the NCAA Division I level at Quinnipiac University, where he honed his skills further. However, it is in the realm of coaching that Brian has truly made his mark. For over a decade, he has been a prominent figure in South Florida lacrosse, imparting his knowledge and passion to both girls and boys teams. His journey from player to coach showcases not only his love for the game but also his commitment to nurturing the next generation of lacrosse enthusiasts.1
